Saying "good bye" in Great Britain


        Saying "godbye" in Great Britain takes a lot of time. They usually call this process "saying goodbyes" because nobody wants to be first to leave. They repeat again and again the words of saying goodbye. 
        Before some time you leave you should say what you are going to do:

- I should really going now.
or
- I really ought to be making a move.
or
- I really have to go now.
       
          It's also usual to say why you are leaving. The most useful expressions are:

- Well, I think, I'd better go now. I have an appointment\a         date\a lesson in a few minutes.
-Oh, look at the time! I must rush. See you later. 

        Leave at 10 p.m.
       Don't forget to say something to show your hosts that you want to see them again. The most common phrases are

- It's been nice meeting you. (formal)
- Nice meeting you (informal)
- See you later.
- See you then.
- See you.

  1. Russian people are very hospitable. And they also have a lot of guests at their houses. An it doesn`t matter who leaves the first because next week they can meet again.
